Just another dung story

I know I seem obsessed with dung lately, Fan Club, but it is not my fault, honest.

Our neighbour loves dung. He brings it to his farm all the time, then he spreads it everywhere. I don’t know why he does this, because his trees don’t seem to get any bigger. So maybe he just likes dung as much as I do.

Anyhoo, the boys on the mountain and me like to snaffle a quick snack now and then. Then daddy yells at me. So what? I forgot daddy hates dung! But he’ll get over it, and in the meantime….

Hi Milo, sorry I haven’t communicated for some time. I have been away to stay with my cousin Ozzie. It took me a few days to ‘knock him into shape’, but he soon learned who is boss and we got on very well. I must say there are some lovely walks near his new house and we had lots of fun.
Well, I there isn’t much dung around here worth eating, but there is nothing I like more than rolling in fox poo. My nasty mum has taken me for a haircut because she said I was too smelly. I ask you! Shorn in winter!
There is something else I must warn you about. Before long, a noisy, smelly baby will arrive in both of our houses. Now I know that people make more fuss of babies than dogs, so be warned. We must hold on to our superior position in our households, so plan your strategy NOW.
    Regards from your friend Ben

hello Ben, nice to see you here! I really don’t know why parents don’t understand about dung! Maybe you should suggest to your mum that she try rolling in fox dung herself, then she could see how lovely it is! Honestly, humans just don’t get it sometimes.

I did hear about sister Pgy having puppies. I am looking forward to being an uncle! I’m not so sure about all the noise, but we’re used to sister Pgy being noisy so how bad can it be?!

    Hi Milo,
My Mum says it is bad enough having to wash fox dung off me, without having to roll in it. Perhaps that is why she always has to do it and not my Dad!
It is good being an uncle. My nephews are great fun, and so is my niece Emily, but Holly does not like me at all. Once this new baby is old enough to play games it will be good fun, but until them ughhhhhh!!!!!
I haven’t found your sister Pgy noisy at all. If you want noise, try an hour of Holly when she is in unhappy mode.
    Regards from Ben
